What a fantastic experience I had with this garage. I originally brought my car to them for a second opinion after being told by another garage that it would be too expensive to bother fixing & I should just scrap it. They told me that was rubbish and fixed the issue for a more than reasonable price. Tony went above and beyond to help me out and I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

Having had work done their last year. I was having problems claiming the work done through my warranty. The warranty people contacted them and the garage provided what they needed, allowing me to claim the labour costs for the work done.

Took the car for its MOT. They said an hour - it was just under. I required a new tyre as one on the vehicle had a split. I asked them to fit another and Shakespeare Street garage were on the phone, ordering me a new tyre and having the car done and ready in under an hour. AND it was lunch time. Thank you again.

Dropped my car off for new front pads and discs. Got a call from the garage 10 mins later, asking if I REALLY wanted them doing as they looked like there was a lot of life left on the originals. I explained why I thought they needed doing, and a great job they did with them. The point is, how refreshing for a business to be honest enough to almost talk themselves out of a job. This was the best experience I have ever had with a garage in my life. As a student especially I'm very cautious about places trying to rip me off but Tony and the guys did everything they could to make it as cheap and easy as possible, even cancelling work in order to help me out.

I actually had done my MOT at Kwikfit before coming here and they couldn't pass me due to an 'issue' but Tony noticed and printed out some nuances in the law for me to go back and get it all sorted as well fixing the actual issues I had going on.

Honestly couldn't recommend these guys enough, will definitely be going here from now on. Top lads

Brilliant experience, especially in comparison to other larger chain garages. After worrying about all the issues precious auto centres said my car had, my friend recommended me to this place, as the issues they brought up didn't make sense. Shakespeare Street Garage assured me there were barely any issues with my car. I had a full service and extra inquiries i asked about (Battery, clutch etc). They let me know of any potential issues but said they were nothing to worry about for a while. Couldn't recommend here enough. Staff were friendly and welcoming. This will be my regular garage from now.

I have an automatic Nissan Note - not very new it has to be said, but have had terrible issues with another garage, so much so that the car was found to be too dangerous to drive.

Shakespeare Street Garage was recommended to me and I took it there for investigation, quote and subsequent work.

They have been professional, polite and courteous at all times and gave a very fair quote for the work. They provide a very comprehensive service - even mended my heater - and the work carried out is impeccable.

I made a shortlist of the cars I found in Autrader and ranked them according to my preference. I decided to ring Shakespeare Street Garage first and spoken with Tony to schedule a test drive which he also gave me a brief description of the car over the phone. I travelled from South East London to Lincoln, with high hopes that it was worth the journey. I was happy with the condition of the car which is exactly how it was described on the advert. The business part was smooth. Tony undertood that I travelled far so he made sure that the car was all checked and prepared for me to drive home. I always thought that buying used cars requires luck, but it's not just luck... it is also honest car dealers like Shakespeare Street Garage.

Shakespeare Street Motors had exactly what we were looking for, an immaculate used Mazda MX5 roadster. The garage was much bigger than we thought and was very busy but we were soon seen by Gary. Gary wasn't at all pushy but friendly and efficient. A test drive endeared us to the car and we agreed a deal, which included an AA 3 month warranty, a year's breakdown cover. a full service and an MOT test. Gary was very helpful in ensuring we could collect the car sooner than arranged to avoid the second lockdown.
When we went to collect the car we found that it had been prepared to a very high standard all the documents had been prepared and the tank even had plenty of petrol in it! Shakespeare Street Motors may lack the glitz, glamour and the pushy salesmen of most main dealers but they do excel in what matters most; good communication, quality of service and honesty. Highly recommended.

Purchased a Rover 75 and highly delighted with car and the service by Shakespeare Street Garage. They attended to a couple of things on the car despite it being a very cheap car, were very patient while I went over the car with a fine tooth comb - I'm very picky and had been looking for a 75 for some time - and were very honest in pointing out any issues on the car. I have got through many cars over the years but this was one of best dealers I have ever encountered.

I'm very reliant on my car for work. When my brakes needed urgent work, the staff at this garage went out of their way to work around my needs and provided a curtesy car at no extra cost. When I left my SatNav holder in the curtesy car, staff again went out of their way to return it to me the same day. I honesty's cannot rate the service here high enough! The work on the car was also done quickly and all costs were checked with me before going ahead. Easily the best garage experience I've ever had!

Just before Christmas I had a crisis with my car. I drove it (about 30 mins out of Lincoln) turned it off and it never started again. After exploring the local garages (I am new to the area) I found that Shakespeare Garage was willing to help me collect my car and attempted to repair it. Unfortunately, my 2001 Mazda Demio was no longer reliably turning on every time. I therefore decided to part exchange my car with one at Shakespeare garage. I was very short for time as I had to drive down to the South of France for Christmas (the whole 13 hours of driving had to be done within a day of buying the car!!!). I am not a car person but with Tony's help I felt very comfortable buying a car (Seat Mii) from Shakespeare Garage and driving it so far! Tony ensured all the necessary checks were made to get the vehicle in tip top condition for my travels. He even changed parts at no extra cost. I have since travelled to France, then Andorra and back to the UK ( 3000 miles + ) since I brought it a month ago and I have had 0 problems. I would definitely recommend this Garage to my friends and family. The service I received was truly excellent.

As a young woman it can be hard to find a good garage that won't take advantage and rip you off. Every time I have taken my car here the work has always been something simple and I've always been given a fair price. I took my car there yesterday thinking my whole suspension was gone, but turns out it was something simple and cheap to fix and I've not had any problems since. All the cars are given MOTs and services (if needed) before they are handed over to you. The staff at Shakespeare are friendly and welcoming. They will also answer any and all questions you have and they will give you time to look around the car of interest or all the cars available and they will give you plenty of time to decide on your car. We will happily return to Shakespeare garage to buy our next car in the future and we would definitely recommend shakespear garage to anyone looking to buy a car themselves.
